Hey, it seems like the developers haven't been active lately, but I'm gonna post this regardless.

Every time I click on the connect to tor option in mycelium I get the same message

You need to download Orbot, to use this feature...

I have Orbot installed and tried to start it manually, I even set up mycelium as a tor enabled app, but nothing worked

I would really like to keep using this app

+1 I haven't been able to use Mycelium for months because it never connects. The spinning-blue circle in the top-right just spins indefinitely.

I have Orbot installed and running. I've tried it with both VPN mode (selecting the mycelium app in the list of apps to be tor-ified) and not (system-wide).

I cannot enable "Tor network" in mycelium's settings. If I click the toggle button to turn it on, I get a popup that says

You must have Orbot installed and acitvated to proxy traffic through it. Would you like to install it from Google Play?

If I click No, it doesn't enable Tor Mode. If I click Yes, it says

No Google Play installed on this device.

...Which is true. I don't have Gapps installed on my device. Orbot was installed from F-Droid. Mycelium was installed from Aurora Store.

All other apps on my device work fine when I run Orbot. It seems that mycelium just has some sort of code that's trying to be too smart about Tor, and it breaks things. I expect if mycelium didn't try to manage Tor itself, everything would be working fine.

Please fix this for folks that don't use Google Play Services.
