It seems that there is an error when using HTTPS within the URL addresses in case the server is running the certificate from Let's Encrypt.
This affects both backpack.openbadges.org and validator.openbadges.org.
The end result for both cases is the error code 503 and HTML page content mentioning Heroku in the address.
When switching server from HTTPS to HTTP, all worked just fine.
Not sure if that only happens with Image objects or does that affects also links to Badge and Issuer. That could be determined by someone with access to the infrastructure.
