IBM offers multiple solutions for both Anti-Virus/Spyware and Host IDS protection <!--- (http://www.softlayer.com/services/security /mcafeeAntiVirus) ---> on every device. Anti-Virus/Spyware products are provided by McAfee and include both a standard and free solution for Windows systems as well as Total Protection for Windows systems for a nominal monthly fee. We also offer Host IDS services to protect against known and zero-day attacks from Nessus as a free-of-charge solution or through McAfee for a monthly fee. Both Anti-Virus/Spyware and Host IDS solutions must be added to your device for it to be protected and are easily managed using the IBM Customer Portal.
