Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently newcomers have no guidelines into how the contributing workflow goes. We have a lot of intermediary processes that happen during feature implementation that are not explained anywhere.

Describe the solution you'd like
Writing a contributing guide which explains how to take ownership over an issue, how to create a PR that follows our standards, and how to test the code locally.
