It might be worth it to allow user to suggest sync mode. There's some issues with fast sync right now preventing nodes form completely syncing with the network.
See: ethereum/go-ethereum#15001
It would be handy to be able to edit that in an ansible file when needed instead of altering service files that will be overwritten by the next playbook execution.
