High CPU Load When Loading Python In LiveShare

Any time that I try to join a live share with my friend, the words "Python extension loading..." are on the bottom of my screen. Then, in the notification tab, it says "The extension 'Python' took a very long time to complete its last operation and it has prevented other extensions from running." On that same message box, I am presented with two options, "Show Extensions" and "Show Issues". When I click "Show Issues", I get sent to this page: https://github.com//Microsoft/vscode-python/issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is:issue+state:open+%22Extension+causes+high+cpu+load%22 and a notification pops up saying, "Did you attach the CPU-Profile? This is a reminder to make sure that you have not forgotten to attach (cpu profile directory) to an existing performance issue.

I have tried plenty of older versions of python, pylance, and jupyter but nothing fixes the issue.

Please let my know if you have any suggestions.
