Unable to install new versions on Windows 10

Hello,
I can't install the terminal since the new versions 1.17 and 1.18.


I get this error message when I run msibundle:
The installation of this application package is not supported by the Application Installer, as it uses certain restricted features.

And 1.16 stable / 1.17 preview installed just fine? I wonder if this is somehow related to #15050....

Hi yes ! I use without problem the 1.16 and 1.17 on my computer with git releases :) and i use new tab menu in my json top !! but the new version won't install since 1 week

I was somewhat worried about this! You should have an update available for a package named "Windows App Installer" (or "Desktop App Installer"). That update is required before this one.

Alternatively, you can install this update using Windows PowerShell's Add-AppxPackage cmdlet:

Add-AppxPackage Path\To\Terminal\1.17.msixbundle

Unfortunately I'm in a professional enterprise context with GPO, so I'm afraid I'll be forced to stop updating these packages :/.

That's why I get the Windows Terminal from Git and not from the Microsoft store (store blocked).

I tried to install the terminal with Powershell, same problem, here's the screenshot:

Hello :), so do you think it's fixable or will I be stuck with the old versions for my business PC? I'm sad :/

It is working now, i don't know why, i download the new "preinstalled kit" for windows 10, and i add 2.7 and 2.8 packages, and with powershell and add-appxpackage, it is working now i don't know why :O
