Problem
Is it possible to add SD card support for mindstorms program?
Description
I use linux laptop. So default stocking app with mindstorms does not suit me.
If i try to connect brick via usb - laptop does not see it as storage drive.
So I cannot record uf2 via usb.
I can record uf2 at SD card, but brick does not recognize it as program.
There's other options as
virtual box - but I have limited resources.
evdev - but it isn't so simple for children.
Wine - is not working correctly.

It is possible to somehow upload UF2 on Linux as well, but it is sadly not as straightforward as it is on Windows; see #980.
Regarding SD card support - the LMS2012 VM (what EV3-G programs run on) AFAIK supports storing programs on a SD card. One would only have to extract .rbf and .elf files from the .uf2 file and put them on the SD. I haven't yet tried it but I think it is possible.
