Feature request rather than an issue: not seeing groups on Lenovo Smartpaper

I own the lenovo smartpaper (e-paper tablet), it does not have access to the google play store, and so I tried to sideload an apk (from apkcombo) of z4z to see if it works.
The good news, it works at least for seeing "My Library" and reading the pdf (haven't tried annotations yet. However, it does not "see" the groups I'm subscribed to, which is an annoyance as I share most of my docs with colleagues.
It may be the issue of the apk downloaded. Or it maybe something else.
Mick if you see an interest in furthering this, you're welcome, but of course it is well off mainstream. However an e-paper tablet is a great tool for running zotero.
