Didn't you receive an email from Spotify telling you about the reason?
Did you authenticate your Spotty instance using username/password, or using a Spotify app? They disabled the credentials way of authenticating a few weeks back, and seem to be blocking accounts which continue to use them. If that's the case for you, then you'll have to remove the account from Spotty and re-authenticate using the app method (as outlined on the auth screen).
