taxon used in "upon" detail does not update when synonym is used

when selecting a specific taxon to use as an upon substrate such as "Walteria flemmingii" the former name may be entered as an error "Walteria flemmingi". In the previous VARS, older names that have been synonymized were automatically updated to the current accepted name when used as an upon substrate. The new VARS version does not automatically update the synonyms "Walteria flemmingi" to the accepted "Walteria flemmingii." It is necessary for the synonyms to be updated to reduce inconsistencies in the data.
