Edited messages use the compatibility message in backfills instead of adding the edited tag/change the original message. It should be easy to do with the new tapback code but I won't be able to implement this until May, if someone else would want to try this out.

This is not a problem with the bridge or BlueBubbles and is instead because of Apple: if two devices under the same AppleID receive an edit and only one supports the feature, the device that supports it will handle the edit correctly and change the message while the out-of-date one will add the compatibility message to the iMessage DB, which is synced to iCloud for every device. BlueBubbles is never able to return a message pre-edit from the iMessage DB. What may be worth it is preserving a "has been edited" flag on backfill, but not that important.
