I think I posted this before you merged the OVBSC into the STC1000p branch.
The main reason for this request is the difficulty maintaining mash out temp (even with insulation) on the Grainfather. With their recipes they tell you to switch the boiler from the Mash (500w) setting to the Normal (2000w) setting during mash out.
My suggestion is that for each mash step you have a three options, eg:
Pt1 - Mash step 1 temp
Pd1 - Mash step 1 duration
Po1 - Mash step 1 output setting
Po1 settings would be s,p,h,b as follows:
s - Mash step uses SO output
p - Mast step uses PO output (default)
h - Mash step uses HO output
b - Mash step uses bO output
