I'm wondering if there is a way for not using the VirtualBox while submitting boinc2docker jobs.
I'm looking for a mechanism for running jobs directly inside a Docker container instead of running them in VirtualBox

There is unfortunately not. There is some discussion in BOINC/boinc#1620 but I'm not aware of anything coming from it, so if you wanted to try and create something like this I'm sure it'd be very well appreciated.
