Win11 build 26244.500 #2
Comments
Addendum to the previous: I don't know if it can be helpful, but in the release notes there is this fix implemented by Microsoft - Fixed the underlying issue causing some Insiders to see a Pcasvc.dll error dialog pop-up with the message “Missing entry: PcaWallpaperAppDetect” after upgrading from Windows 11, version 22H2/23H2 to a 26xxx build. |
Addendum 2: by installing the UltraUXThemePatcher utility version 4.4.2 before using UWD2 (here is the link: https://mhoefs.eu/software_uxtheme.php?ref=syssel&lang=en), the program seems to work even on the latest build. |
I'm unable to reproduce the issue. I just updated to 26244.500 and UWD2 works fine even without the theme patcher thing. Can you run UWD via a terminal and copy-paste its output here? Just open a terminal, drag and drop the uwd exe into it, and hit enter |
PS C:\uwd> ./uwd2 |
Try deleting the .rva file at |
I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this issue, but with the latest win release, the program on my PC no longer works. The patch is applied, the command prompt appears, but after restarting Explorer at the end of the process, the watermark remains. I wanted to report this issue. Thanks for your attention.
