Hey there,

Can anybody explain how to use the entityOverrides?
I've tried multiple setups but the entities still show up as a Mac address in Home Assistant.

bluetoothClassic:

Still shows up as:

ps I changed MAC to AA:AA.... for obvious reasons 😄

Can you check your log file to see if there are any configuration errors reported?

I would expect the id to be indented one more level, e.g.

The id option is doing what it is meant to do, i.e. changing the unique_id and associated mqtt topics to use "apple-watch" rather than "AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AA". Note this does not change the name setting. I dont think there is a way to do that from the bluetooth-classic integration. See #433 for background.

For the name part of BT Classic, see #596. It's something that I want to implement sooner rather than later, but I didn't get to spend much time on room-assistant the last weeks unfortunately.
