Mac: Installed as described but doesn't output anything #12

I've installed as described and also viewed the video at

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xE41VQjTruA

and tried to do the same but nothing happens on my Mac.

Also the Input source is "No input" and when I click on the dropdown no entry is displayed.

What can I do to fix this?
