first of all terrific job!

there is a typo in your readme file, (I guess documentation is > 0 therefore)
#[cfg_attr(feature="flame_it", flame)];
Should not have a semicolon at the end, it would help to write some dummy function header afterward to clarify the use.

#[cfg_attr(feature="flame_it", flame)]
fn some_function()
