Is it possible to add an option in settings to tell xviewer what default size the window should be when opening, example either 80% of the screen or a set resolution size like in MPV.

Alternatively just have the app remember the last window size on open, like most other apps do in mint.

I would like to be able to configure it to start with any of the image sizes of the buttons that the application itself has, it is the only thing that I miss, because for example it would be much more comfortable that when I open an image it starts in normal size, which corresponds to the button that has the number 1 on the icon.

Completely agree with you.
And I've just found out that it opens all my tiff files with 10% of zoom. 10% !

And while jpegs opens in reasasonable sized window, i can't disable best fit tickbox in View menu for some reason. It is back again when i open next pic.
