Bug description

Automatic image orientation from the camera exif is inconsistently working. Some of the images are auto rotated, others are not. See screenshot. This is not the other case with other tools (shotwell, digikam), which automatically rotate images correctly

Steps to reproduce

Load pix
Open folder with images that have portrait orientation.
Some images are automatically rotated, others are not

Expected behavior

All images should automatically rotate
