Since today my touchpad randomly stops working and start working again. It's super random but I don't know the cause. I run an SL3 13.5" with arch.

Does this happen in the bios? You might try downloading an installer or other "live" version of linux you can boot from and see if it's happening there as well. If so, it's likely a hardware issue.

Are you using x.org or Wayland?
