From Jon's user review.

Due to the additional columns, it highlighted the fact that the table on a reasonably small screen (tested on a linux laptop) is difficult to navigate. I had to spend time and go through some trouble to see the additional columns.

Unfortunately it makes sense to not put a limit on this and an additional scrollbar would be ugly. I think the best solution is to let the part numbers columns collapse and to collapse them by default.
