Hi

I'm trying to use the vst with Ableton Live 11 on macOS (Ventura 13.5). I was expecting the released build to work, but Ableton doesn't recognize it. I think it appears to work with Reaper, but I'm not inclined to make a switch for that ;)

I did a bit of research:

Ableton 11 on M1 Mac is unable to find vst · Issue #175 · RustAudio/vst-rs · GitHub

  • not applicable, since the my Ableton.app is not intel, but native Apple Silicon.

M1 MacOS and Ableton · Issue #190 · RustAudio/vst-rs · GitHub

  • It mentions that only ARM doesn't work for ableton for some reason.
  • I tried building for 'x86_64-apple-darwin' too, however it fails when compiling regex-syntax.

I haven't used Rust before, so I could be doing something wrong.

Anybody who knows what to do, or has a build for macOS M1 that works with Ableton?
