We have recently migrated all but one of our git dependencies to published dependencies on crates.io and we could make a Bevy retro release to crates.io if we wanted to. Our question to the community is, would that be helpful? Currently Bevy Retro is moving very fast. Things are changing constantly with new features being worked on regularly. Does this fast movement mean that it isn't very useful to have releases on crates.io that would quickly become out-of-date, or should we publish releases so that users can stick to a specific version more conveniently and avoid the nuances of using a git dependency on Bevy Retro. If you have any thoughts comment below! |

Crate is now published under it's new name: Bevy Retro is now almost feature-complete, with only a few things that we might want to add later such as save data support and sprite scale and rotation support, but we believe that large breaking changes are much less likely now, though not impossible. |
