Unlauncher keeps freezing after switching between apps

Unlauncher keeps freezing when i'm switching from an app to an app. This usually results in an inability to scroll the main list upwards, meanwhile i can open particular apps. It feels as if on launcher was not recognizing gestures. Oddly enough, swipe down activates the top system drawer.

I'm using graphene os on a google pixel 7.

I wonder if this is perhaps related to behavior being tracked in #220...

I have personally experienced this happening (once every couple of days), but have not been able to consistently repro it. Turning off the screen and turning it back on fixes the issue for me.

I am hoping to simplify some of the code flows (and try to make sure the asyncs and the app re-draws are done properly as suggested in the other ticket). Hoping that will address this issue 🤞 (assuming this is not some weird issue affecting all custom launchers...).

I hope, I never exprienced it before. It just started.. Since it is random, I can not clearly pinpoint wether it might have been triggered by a recent android update by the vendor. Will let you know and provide further details...
