I love unlauncher, and thank you for all of your hard work on it over the years! I use it on many devices everyday around the house and on the go when I want to focus.

It would really be a killer feature to support different unlauncher "modes", or preconfigured app lists that are available in the drawer.

For example, I use a different set of apps when travelling, or at work, or at home, or watching my son, and this would be a great feature to intentionally swap between those to minimize temptations.

I can sit and add and remove them, but it's pretty arduous and subject to missing them. I envision this in implementation to be more of a settings menu feature, to be able to configure multiple app lists and toggle between them. It would really let me upgrade unlauncher to be my full-time launcher and cut out a lot of distractions.

Possible future extensions of this idea (for the long term idea bank):

  • adding an intent to trigger switching between lists using Tasker/Automate
  • The ability to export app list configurations to easily replicate them across devices (mostly useful for home dashboard tablets, and backups)
