No git diff displayed in lazygit menu

I usually see a bit of information in the diff window, but have not seen it in the most recent production build. I am a new Arch user, and fear maybe I didn't install layzgit properly.

This might be an easy fix, which is why I didn't raise an issue. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed the diff shows up when I click the diff window. But I want the diff to be visible always. What is delta? Any steps i should do to rectify this?

It is always the simple answer. Installed delta. Working perfectly now.

You set the pager to delta in your config, which is a third party program that was missing.

I migrated to Arch from Ubuntu and the out of the box experience is not as smooth a Ubuntu. So many packages I have to install myself. I did not know delta was even a package. Lazygit is working 100 percent right now, and I am loving it

Well delta isn't the default pager, you put it in the config, so it's up to you to make sure it exists on whichever system you run it on. You had to install it on ubuntu as well.
