From one day to the next I can no longer download YouTube videos. I was able to download all videos marked "provided to YouTube".

Solution please

@Robert08061955 if Ure on Mac go to /Users/<user>/Library/Application Support and remove the folder youtube-dl-gui. After that it should work again.

I am having the same issue on Windows 10. I deleted the folders in AppData/Roaming and AppData/Local and am still receiving the error. Any recommendations?

Same issue. Clearing cache does not solve the issue as well.

Instead of using the GUI version I loaded the original yt-dlp using the command line. I added the flag: --impersonate "chrome"

After including the flag I was able to connect to the website.
