Any complete tutorial of minicart.js?

Hi Jeff,
First of all, thank you for the programm minicart, it's easy to use and very useful as I can see, I'm about to implement it in my web, but there's a process mising I don't find information and I think you could fix that.
The thing is that I'm trying to figure out how do I receive the answer from minicart in case the client pays or deny the paypal payment,
