I'm seeing this or a very similar bug.

After working without a problem for about a month, as of today I receive a warning dialog every time a sync is attempted, both automatically or manually initiated. Dialog reads

"Your authentication token for Google has expired. Please click OK and enter your credentials to get a new token and Synchronize your contacts."

Clicking OK brings up the Refresh Token dialog but allowing access seems to complete successfully as far as Google is concerned, I will receive the warning dialog again on next attempted sync. (note there is actually nowhere to "enter your credentials", only an Allow button.

Application: Thunderbird,
Application Version: 60.9.0 (32 bit)
gContactSync Version: 2.0.13

Closer observation seemed to indicate that the problem started after adding a new contact through Thunderbird. The contact fails to sync up to Google.

I observe exactly the same behavior.
After some test I came to the opinion that only writes to google contacts lead to this.
As long as gcontactsync is not trying to modify google contacts, the sync passes without error.
Perhaps it's not gcontactsync problem, maybe google is not giving write access to the accounts

I have this issue as well. Once I log into my Google account, I receive this message:

error 401: disabled_client

I should add that I am using an older version, 2.1.13, since I am using version 60.9.1.of Thunderbird (because the newer versions are not compatible with some of my beloved add-ons).
