I was able to get this working following primarily the commands in the medium.com link. I followed those instructions exactly and created the file as .bashrc. The only thing that gave me trouble was adding the path to my Scripts directory, I'm not sure why but the bash command given in the tutorial didn't work for me so I added the path manually.
