Short Description of the issue

Here we develop workflow templates for the DT Flood Early Warning and the DT Flood Climate Impacts.

The intent is that the workflow templates give expert users a starting point from which to develop their own workflows using interTwin DTE core and thematic modules.

Additionally there is an action to ensure interoperability between DestinE and interTwin. This issue is used to discuss, communicate and track related requirements and developments.

We have developed a CWL workflow for the DT Flood Climate Impacts (excluding RA2CE so far), which will also serve as the backbone for the DT Flood Early Warning. It is not exactly a template yet as there are still parts in the CWL workflow which are specific to the DR Flood Climate Impacts.
The same workflow is used as a starting point for work in the DestinE 370a project, but for similar reasons it is not a one-to-one copy

notes from meeting with Thomas

  • aim to complete DE370 workflows by September 2024.
  • in DE370 there are additional models for waves, tides and surges (HurryWave and Delft3D FM)
  • objective is to leverage services, capabilities and data from DTs
  • currently using polytype to access DT data from VM, for now no additional requirements needed.
