This would require modifying the NCCH extheader and I currently don't have a good system for this. tmd also needs to be generated.

A very hacky but alright alternative is to just make the user place the 3dsconv executable in the "bin" directory on the standalone and do something with that.

So will you pls add the feature in the next release as it will makes the process a lot easier.
Most people (including me) like to play on both the real hardware and emulator, since .3ds format is better and easier to work with for emulation but cant be used with real hardware (except flashcart, which is not used by many) 2 copies of the same backup need to be kept (.3ds & .cia).
If the support for .3ds is added then this problem would be solved.
