Python Image Scroll Stop after one cycle and check image file

Hello,

I am attempting to run the Python image scroller in bindings/python/samples. I want to be able to scroll through the image once and then stop and run it again as the image file would have updated by the time the full scroll is completed. Is there a good way to do this?
