Hybrid install from pkg?

Your make install can be faster if you can identify non-critical apps (gettext, wget) that can be more quickly installed via pkg.

Not sure why: some ports e.g. py311-* can hang downloading from ports. This may be related to me downloading from a Thailand service provider. The fast workaround is to simply install via pkg.
