Open Questions

This issue list open questions to ddk.

Questions:

• HTTPS Certificate for image servers (Chrome doesn't support mixed content). Since the links in the lido xml files contain URLs to http://www.bildindex.de and these URLs get redirected to http://previous.bildindex.de we implemented a workaround to use http://previous.bildindex.de directly. Of course this is only possible if all image links are redirected to http://previous.bildindex.de, so our question is if this is actually the case? Never the less it would still be useful to setup SSL certificates for *.bildindex.de.
• There are artworks without linkResource attributes and appelationValues and therefore very few information. Artworks without label and images #80 Should they be displayed or excluded from the import?
• Which domain should be used for our service? Something like www.ddkartbrowser.org?
• Should there be a linkage between openArtBrowser and DDK-ArtBrowser?
• Should there be a backlink per artwork to the corresponding bildindex page?
