so usually the dynamics in a piece are written once under the stave and that s it. if there s a change (i.e. going from mezzo forte to mezzo piano) then it s indicated once too and that s it.

in TG 1.6.4, every note has to be "labelled" with a dynamic. which means that if you write a score using pianissimo and then realise it should've been "piano" then you have to rewrite EVERY NOTE. that s not functional at all.

TG is the only score editor i know with this problem. i never had a problem like this in MuseScore or GuitarPro.

There are 2 different problems here:

  • the dynamics are not displayed
  • the method to modify dynamics

Just looking at the modification of notes dynamics:

if you write a score using pianissimo and then realise it should've been "piano" then you have to rewrite EVERY NOTE

Hopefully there is a much easier way to do this!
Version 1.6 introduced the selection feature: just select an area (click & drag, or click then shift-click) and select the
new dynamic. It is applied to all selected notes.
