Hi @SimonSolar2C - I'll take a look and see what might have changed. There are API changes occurring and that might be the issue. Thx

Hi @SimonSolar2C - I've been unable to reproduce the problem. Note, I do see that you have the code installed in the ".../API/Scripts" folder and not the ".../API/Addins" folder.

Please try the following:

  1. Delete the Wrap Sketch from the Addins dialog in Fusion 360 then exit the app.
  2. Move the Fusion360WrapSketch folder from the Scripts folder (full path shown in dialog you pasted above) over the Addins folder. The Addins folder should be a sibling to the Scripts folder.
  3. Start Fusion 360 and add the Wrap Sketch Addin from the new location.
  4. Run the Wrap Sketch addin.

Oh, one other note. The ability to wrap a sketch can now be handled using the sheet metal functionality. If you search the forums or youtube you can find examples.

Example here: https://youtu.be/xN5uqSyG6YA

Hi - thanks - some confusion for me about the difference between scripts and add-ins. Your fix did indeed stop the error at startup. Previously it worked okay at this position.
I am having trouble with the result because the wrapped sketch is no longer brown inside so cant be extruded etc.
But as you say I'll take a look at the sheet metal method. Thanks again.

Hi @SimonSolar2C -

Yes, the difference between add-in and script isn't that clear in Fusion.

Hopefully you will find the sheet metal functionality useful for your needs.

Cheers!
