Recomendations before update

I currently have

The plugin version 0.21.8.

Although it is a process that scares me and will take me time, I think the time has come to catch up and update to the latest version.

I would like to receive some recommendation to make this process as simple as possible and also as unproblematic as possible.

I think I'm going to lose scenes and shortcuts, because you have to reconfigure the device, but I've already mentalized and I know it will take me several days to get everything working again.

Still, I think the time has come, but first I would like to receive advice to do it in the safest and least laborious way possible.

My fears come because I am blind, it has been very difficult for me to get to my current configuration, to create shortcuts and scenes that work as I want. I know that now I'm going to lose everything, but I would still like to take the steps as safely as possible.

Due to core changes all settings from scenes and automations will be removed after update to 3.x.x. So it's only Your decision update or not. Plugin config is very easy and require using Config UI X, I do not recommend configuring and edit config.json manually. Config UI X prevent to make wrong config by not advanced Users. You can always make screenshots from your current scenes and automations to get it back after update. If You do not have time to create it again just stay on current version.

What are the advantages of upgrading to version 3 from 0.x?

One thing that worries me a lot and that has encouraged me to take the step is that Homebridge 2.0 will soon be released and I am worried that my current version is not compatible.
