Package options on Opnwrt for a XPT2046 monitor

Been testing all of the pre-existing LCD-Show options. Understandably, it didn't work. Is it possible to have an option for the monitor to work with opnwrt with the ability to rotate? I've googled everywhere and the only work around that I was able to figure out was to unplug to HDMI cable from my computer monitor and replace it with the HDMI connector between the Raspberry PI board to the monitor with opnwrt just to see if it worked. I was surprised it did.
