This is more of a feature request than a bug. Currently I'm trying to get access to a really old VMFS 2 volume, but it seems like it's not possible currently with vmfs-tools. It'd be awesome if this were supported.

@pdevine dunno if @glandium is interested but if you can provide test images I'm interesting on implementing it in DiscImageChef.

I do have a dd from an entire 9GB drive complete with the partition table, however there is some personal information on the dump. Maybe we could work something out to get someone the dump if they would agree to not share it anywhere else?

@pdevine I'm bound to the GDPR regulations, so if you have personal information there I will encrypt it at rest, not share it with any third party at all, and once I get to know the structures, remove that personal information altogether from my systems. The question is how can you copy that to me.

@claunia I think you can attach a GPG public key to your GH profile. If that shows up in your bio I can encrypt the blob and send you a link.
