Issue with vendore (repo's language stats absent)

Hello!
I am aware that this issue has been addressed several times, however, I don't seem to find any useful solution, I thus seek help via opening a Discussion's thread.

I own a public repositery (link) and the src is currently under docs/ folder (which happens to be vendored by Linguist's default standards at languages.yml).

I tried adding .gitattributes to override default behaviour with such code:

docs/** linguist-vendored=false

Unfortunately, it still seems like that the language stats are not included (from docs/).

Any guidance will be highly appreciated. 😊

This is your issue... docs/ is considered documentation, not vendored:

Accordingly, you need to use the -linguist-documentation or linguist-documentation=false override.
