Rendering fonts on Mac seems worse on low(er-ish) displays (compared to iTerm)

Hi, I have ghostty and iTerm set up in a pretty analogous way and they look identically great on my MacBook Pro 16 screen. Here they are side by side:

However on some external monitors (definitely on the ones with lower DPI) ghostty looks significantly worse than iTerm, they look side by side like this:

Fonts in ghostty (on the left) look very thin and letter spacing/character width seem stretched. Hopefully if enlarged the screenshot shows the difference.

Its well known there are issues around DPI I believe some of them have been fixed on the main branch but I may be wrong (I dont have a mac to confirm any of them)

Thanks, unfortunately the problem persists on the tip, however, it is good to hear that it is being worked upon.
