I think the reason for the discrepancy is that Ghostty uses macOS native tabs, which are really just fully-fledged windows smashed together into one object — see https://ghostty.org/docs/help/macos-tiling-wms. We couldn't really do anything about that other than rolling our own tabbing solution, which might happen eventually since native tabs are very buggy. For the prompt, terminal = split = surface in this instance. There definitely should be a clean up of our terminology. |

Hi all,
When I open a window and create tabs inside it, I expected to see only one instance when I right click on Ghosty in the dock. However, I see separate item for each tab. Additionally, when I try to close tab via Cmd+w, it prompts as "Close terminal", but actually I am about to close tab not entire terminal. So, am I missing some terminology in Ghosty?
