Spec Editor does not work in eclipse. #19
Comments
Same here, I notice in other machine with a fresh instalation, but in mine was working (the installation was about a month ago), now the same error. It's possible to edit using text editor, but that way you can't open just double clicking and the quick fix won't work. |
Same issue. I tried reinstalling Gauge, it worked for a day or two but eventually the issue comes up again. Do we have any permanent fix for this? |
For me the plugin worked on Eclipse Kepler, but not on Mars. Here's the stacktrace for the error I get when I try to open a spec file and then close it:
|
The eclipse version should be Kepler or Luna, Mars isn't supported yet, AFAIK. |
Can anyone from Gauge team please let us know when can support for Mars be expected? Mars has been out for more than a year now. And btw, the plugin worked for a while on Kepler, but later it started running into the same error as on Mars. |
Spec editor in eclipse is not working. It fails with java.lang.nullpointer exception when we try to open any spec (I tried to open the spec that come from java template).
Refer to screenshots for the exception.
This one shows that the editor does not open when we try to open the spec using spec editor. Only the close icon is available.
This is the error we get when we try to close the tab (Clicked on the close button of the spec editors tab).
