I think "Linux FHD" comes from the EDID data, IddSampleDriver/IddSampleDriver/Driver.cpp Line 403 in 2737d74
thus changeable if you re-build it (I currently don't have time to do this). I'm not sure for other things ("Generic Display" and "LNX0000"). |
I think Windows refuses to recognize the EDID even if I change only one letter. : ( |
Ah, nevermind, I forgot about the checksum byte! |
I think I have used this (free) software to edit EDID data. |
The monitor is called "Generic Display (Linux FHD)" and the hwid is "LNX0000". Is it possible to change this?
