fwupd-efi 1.7 displays the following error messages and simply hangs:

  1. failed to find (HD1,GPT,<efi_uuid>)/EFI/systemd/fw/<capsule_name>
  2. could not locate device handle

I verified the <efi_uuid> is correct and the capsule file is in the correct location on the EFI partition.

What distro is this? I see EFI/systemd rather than the EFI/${DISTRO} -- is this using sd-boot or something containery?

This is Arch Linux. The path is not distro dependent though. My bootloader is systemd-boot and this is where systemd-bootx64.efi goes by default (and where fwupd copies fwupdx64.efi). If you mean systemd-boot by sd-boot, then yes, this is what I am using.
