Improve the post-login redirect page

The current page doesn't have great contrast, and doesn't match the design of the rest of the website.
And there are sometimes issues with the animation on that page.

It would be very nice to update that

The post login page can perhaps also be eliminated and the user redirected almost immediately after they have logged in, though there might have already been some experimentation with that before, so would love to get some feedback.
