feature request: support for external web-apps (or browser)

Hello,

First of all, thanks for a great project I really enjoy using!

Currently, I am working on a web-based app for some performance calculations and interactive (in sense of being able to "tick" completed items and navigate through them, effectively an alternative to X-Checklists which could be used both in and outside the sim).

I noticed that earlier last year a feature request for adding a browser in the avitab was closed due to the upcoming CEF in X-Plane. I was wondering if you know of any progress in this direction or maybe changed your mind on implementing that feature in AviTab alone?

Anyway, once again thank you for maintaining this great tool.
