To my understanding, for each stage s of form X_i ⊥ X_a, X_c=x_c at level(?) i, where c and a are sets with elements j such that j<i, we first use weak union to create new CSIs of form X_i ⊥ X_j, X_r, C_c=x_c, where r = a \ j.
